Jah-Juin pointed me to this pretty cool site where you can help to contribute to Micro loans. Basically you get to pick someone to lend to based on a profile and then donate a small amount to their basket. Each lender is sponsored by an organization and an individual and they say almost everyone gets paid back. Here is the guy I sponsored. Anyway I just thought it was a cool site that lets you actually help on an individual level.
